To support the historic Palm House Renovation Project at Allan Gardens with new plants, materials, and programing.
The historic Palm House Conservatory at Allan Gardens is completing its 2-year restoration and refurbishment. The improvements include window glazing, glass cladding replacement and functional modernization of the ventilation and air quality systems and controls. The current Palm House opened in 1910 following a fire that destroyed the previous pavilion. This vital work will preserve and improve an iconic Toronto building for future generations to enjoy.
When completed in Spring 2024, the Friends of Allan Gardens will be ready with new plant material, benches, lighting, and more. New programming will be created to celebrate this iconic garden building.
