Our youth program promotes careers in aviation, and sometimes we use some great training aids to help raise interest, including aircraft and related components. We’re in need of assistance to help with annual maintenance and storage costs of these assets.
The Hudson Aviation Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting careers in the aviation industry, particularly for young people. We aim to address the forecasted labour shortage in aviation by:
Raising Awareness: Promoting the diverse career paths available within the aviation industry.
Enabling Effective Training: Providing access to training aids, such as aircraft and related components, to support aviation training schools and youth organizations.
Funding Education: Offering financial assistance through scholarships and bursaries to students enrolled in aviation programs.
Supporting Youth Organizations: Collaborating with groups like the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and others to introduce youth to aviation careers and provide hands-on experience.
Our mission is to leverage the experience of aviation professionals to prepare individuals for productive and rewarding jobs, and to engage and sustain the next generation of aviation enthusiasts.
