Heroes Rising spotlights our society’s unsung heroes – First Responders. Powered by Survivors and Victims of Crime. We focus on awarding the heroic acts of first responders as told by those whose lives they have impacted.
OUR GOAL
To have the voice of survivors raise the profile of First Responders and build widespread recognition and appreciation for their work.
OUR WHY
To recognize first responders who act from a place of selflessness and bravery. To raise awareness around the unique challenges and triumphs faced by our heroes, so they feel supported as they continue to serve their communities.

The Award Ceremony will focus on awarding the heroic acts of first responders as told by those whose lives they have impacted.
TEAM
Heroes Rising is a Survivor-Led initiative powered by Timea’s Cause Inc. Timea’s Cause Inc. is a Social Enterprise founded by a Survivor and Globally recognized Human Rights Advocate. Heroes Rising will be governed by a voluntary Advisory Committee, “The Academy,” consisting of Survivors and Victims of Crime, serving and/or retired First Responders, and members from the private sector.
