ArtReach is a community-based arts organization that provides grants, workshops, mentorship, and resources to emerging artists and cultural leaders aged 13-29 from equity-deserving populations in Toronto.
Founded in 2006, ArtReach is a Toronto-based grassroots non-profit organization that delivers capacity and skill-building workshops, provides mentorship, and supplies resources for the youth arts community, including grants for community-based arts programs and individual arts projects.
Our work engages youth aged 13-29 from various equity-deserving populations who have experienced exclusion and lack access to accessible and high-quality arts opportunities. Our services are free to the young artists, community organizers, and youth-led groups who access them. ArtReach encourages youth to take the lead in defining what art means to them and what resources they need to achieve their goals.
Over the last 18 years, ArtReach has provided over $5 million in grants to 470 youth arts programs, and have run nearly 200 free capacity-building workshops for 5,300 youth, providing accessible funding and learning opportunities to enhance the work of Toronto’s young cultural leaders.
