Lea Vares Greenwood has a 30+ year social work history both in the frontlines and leadership. With her gained experiences she has earned a reputation for having expertise in dealing with health promotion, community and program development, peer-support / mentoring, and crisis management. Her areas of professional impact include: extensive clinical work in Community Mental Health; executing a campaign with Toronto Police Sex Crimes Unit to abolish the sexual exploitation of children; formulating the patient services program for newly diagnosed blood cancer patients in Ontario, and she worked as a research analyst with the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine. Over the years she has served on a multitude of Boards of Directors in both Mental Health and Cancer sectors. For the past 3 year she has overseen the delivery of the excellent programs at UforChange Movement, the charity providing exceptional arts educational to marginalized youth.
