At CDC-Quinte, we believe that everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food—no matter where they live. That’s why we’re committed to delivering fresh fruits, vegetables, and essential baby formula to families across our entire region, from Bancroft to Picton (covering over 160 miles round trip).
Due to the ongoing food insecurity crisis, with 1 in 4 individuals in our catchment area experiencing food insecurity, we are here to help. We focus on delivering essential goods—fresh produce and infant formula—at reduced cost to individuals and families in need, especially in food deserts like Coe Hill, Limerick, and Deseronto, where access to healthy food is limited.
Each month, our dedicated volunteers split the delivery into two routes to ensure maximum reach and efficiency:

North Locations: Delivered every 2nd Tuesday of the month.

South Locations: Delivered every 4th Tuesday of the month.
Volunteers generously give their time and effort, ensuring that these life-sustaining resources reach those who may not otherwise have access.
