We are thrilled to announce that a record $3,590 was donated by generous individuals to the 2022 Veritas Foundation Spring Food Drive. This was our most successful food drive to date.
Proceeds went to the Weston Area Emergency Support (WAES) in Toronto, Ontario.
Diana Stapleton, Chair of the WAES Steering Committee, stated “We have been running short of food due to the high need, and summer is a time when most people are not thinking of donating to food banks. Your donation will help us to fill the hampers we distribute to over 180 families each week. The food you donated represented about 7,200 meals!”
